US Tour (2000)
"We were in the US for two and a half months. It was actually better than last year because we had four dancers with us, four crew members and a bus driver as well, so no-one had a chance to be lonely.
"And this time round we had a little bit more time to see the place. Usually when we visit places we never have time to do any sightseeing, but this time we went to Niagara Falls, the White House and the tallest tower in the world in Toronto - as well as getting some shopping done! No, we don't have bodyguards when we're out, but we do sort of lay low!
"On the tour bus, we used to spend all our time chatting, listening to music, watching TV, reading books or making food - you constantly eat 'cause there's a little kitchen with a microwave.

"LFO, Blaque Ivory, the A-Teens and everybody else on the tour were really, really nice. Sister 2 Sister who were on it for a while before they went to support Britney Spears, are really nice girls so we hung about with them a lot. On the last night, we all played jokes on each other. We dressed up as TVs and went out on stage when LFO performed their single, 'Girl On TV'! It was such a laugh!"
"Our show was a scaled down version of our UK and Ireland gigs, but we still had pyrotechnics and costume changes though there were some changes: for "Mickey", our dancers were dressed as American footballers and for "If It Don't Fit", we had Gavin on stage and stripped him down to his boxer shorts - which were of the American flag - everyone went mad for that!
"We definitely would have preferred to do our UK tour all over again, but this time we were sharing the headlining dates with LFO. Hopefully next year we'll get to go again and bring the whole show over."
